Make sense of the numbers
These spans show the lowest and highest numerical figures in the named listing sets, not an average, a fair-price band or a quality score. Starting figures are not maximum charges. Each line has its own scale; compare the printed amounts.

A lower quote is worth checking for scope and exclusions. A higher quote needs an explanation of what is included. These figures alone cannot establish that a provider is underpriced, overpriced, safer or better.
The details that change your budget
Here are 6 details to get in writing. They make a budget more useful than a headline deal.
Get the model and appointment mode. A clinic’s package name may not be the machine name. Nexus’s separate modes show why the distinction matters.
Ask whether the quote covers a few spots, half a face or a full face. The hospital tariff explicitly separates these categories.
Pigmentation, texture and scar appointments need not have the same scope. Medicyto’s categories are an example of different provider labels, not a treatment recommendation.
Ask for both the initial total and the usual follow-up fee. Do not build a whole-course budget from a first-visit promotion.
Record the number of visits, upfront total, deadline and refund terms. A lower displayed session rate can still require a larger payment today.
Check consultation, numbing, products and follow-up individually. If an item is not mentioned, mark it “not confirmed”—not “free”.

For melasma, the AAD describes care that can include sun protection and skin treatments, sometimes alongside a procedure. So a laser-session quote is not a complete melasma-care budget. Read the AAD’s explanation.
Ask which proposed products are necessary, which are optional, and when the plan will be reviewed. We cannot predict your number of sessions from a price list.
Know what you are comparing

These categories come from Nexus, Dr Chong Clinic and Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre. Names are not standardised across clinics.
A dark patch is not a diagnosis. A clinician should assess the concern and discuss suitability before you buy a package. AAD guidance also notes that laser treatment can carry burns or dark-mark risks, especially for darker skin tones. Ask about relevant experience and risks.
Before you compare two quotes
One session is not a whole course. Check the area, quantity or number of visits.
Ask for the device, product and exact appointment—not just a headline name.
A small area and a full-face quote are different purchases. Get the scope in writing.
A package rate may require upfront payment. Check expiry, refunds and who qualifies.
Avoid surprises
Before paying a deposit, ask which of these are included and which would cost extra. Not every quote has the same extras.
“Could you send me the total payable, what it covers, and anything I might need to pay separately?”
Follow the sources, not a ranking
We retained 17 provider pages from 16 named organisations. Listed alphabetically, not by price, quality or sponsorship. These are reading sources, not 16 verified ownership groups. All were read on 27 August 2026.
Its starting-price line combines Q-switched and Pico treatment. Ask which device you would receive and whether consultation is a separate charge.
Different trial headlines appear on the same page, alongside a 6-session package. Get the current offer and what it includes confirmed in writing.
A first-visit trial is not the same purchase as its 3-session package. The terms specify completion within 6 months; ask about the treatment area and unused sessions.
Its numbers are general guidance, not a fixed appointment quote. Ask for a personalised price with a stated session count.
Lists targeted treatment, Pico Plus and Pico Combo. Ask whether a quote covers one concern or a combined full-face appointment.
Names Discovery Pico but asks readers to request a quotation. Confirm the exact area and whether combination treatment is included.
Labels its amounts as estimates. The page directs readers to consultation for a personalised quotation.
Explains the role of treatment area, planned visits and combined care. It does not provide a fixed appointment price.
Names 2 platforms and says it does not quote prices online. Ask which platform and appointment plan the eventual price covers.
The promotion list and linked detail page display different trial amounts. Confirm the applicable branch, offer and inclusions.
Separates first-visit treatment, pigmentation, rejuvenation and combined treatment. A starting price is not a final all-in quote.
A Sabah source naming PicoPlus, without a published appointment price. Ask for a written device-and-area-specific quotation.
The page names PicoCare and a trial-style promotion. Ask for the exact area, appointment mode, repeat-visit fee and promotion deadline.
Two delivery modes are priced separately. Ask which mode, treatment area and consultation terms your quote includes.
Names PicoSure Pro; trial wording and full-session wording differ. Confirm the final charge, treatment area and consultation inclusion.
The hospital tariff separates test spots, spot-count treatment, half-face and full-face care. Citizen and non-citizen columns differ; check which tariff and extras apply.
Reading a page does not verify a doctor’s credentials, an offer’s availability or a clinic’s results. Clinical marketing claims are not adopted as our conclusions. See the complete source list below for guidance, manufacturer and research references.
A little checking goes a long way

We have not verified the credentials or premises of the named providers in this source-reading pass. Inclusion here is not an endorsement, ranking or safety rating.
Quick answers
Ask for the total for your specific area, device/mode and visit plan. This pass does not establish a reliable typical Malaysian price. The table above helps you avoid comparing different purchases.
That gives a conditional per-session arithmetic rate—not a walk-in price. Keep the full upfront commitment beside it, and check expiry and unused-session terms.
No blanket equivalence is established here. Provider pages name different platforms, and Cynosure’s specifications describe device-specific features. Ask for the exact model and mode; do not choose on the brand name alone.
No. We read public pages to understand prices and terms. We did not test treatments, verify each provider’s credentials or rank clinical quality.
Because the billing details are still useful. The references show where the distinctions came from and let you check them. They do not turn unverified advertisements into a national price sample.

Source classes: 17 provider; 3 official-professional; 1 manufacturer; 1 peer-reviewed. Each URL counts once. Provider pages are not independent clinical studies.
Coverage: English and Bahasa Malaysia discovery, plus queries for Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak. Search engine, result rank and locale were not returned by the tool. A regional search or branch listing does not establish a verified price observation in that market.
Certainty: enough to describe the retained page wording; not enough to infer a typical Malaysian price or compare clinical quality. Trial-offer amounts on Beverly Wilshire and LS Medical pages need clarification; equivalence of terms has not been established. The hospital tariff is historical and current applicability is unconfirmed.
Clinical boundary: one research abstract was read, not a full-text systematic review. Exhaustive correction/retraction checking is incomplete. No treatment-effect percentage, universal session plan or medical-review label is claimed.
Still to check: independent provider/group identities, exact comparable offer terms, branch applicability, promotion expiry and current availability. This public-web pass did not contact clinics or collect social discussions.
The sources do not yet form a checked, like-for-like price sample. A collection of advertisements is not a national average. We show the advertised amounts and their observed spans without calling them a typical price.
Formal median/IQR analysis uses at least 8 comparable offers, 5 independently verified clinic groups and 3 state or territory markets. Advertised listings and their clearly labelled observed spans can be shown below those thresholds.
No independently verified provider/group price observations admitted. Twenty-four queries executed including six regional/variant followups and official/clinical/contradiction routes; engine/rank/locale unknown. Public-web evidence is selective, not nationally representative. Two linked/same-page trial-price differences retained; equivalence of terms and current applicability not established. UPM tariff read visually; current applicability, extra fees and device not confirmed. Some hospital/clinical pages failed direct access; no protection bypass or social collection. Formal clinical full-text appraisal and exhaustive retraction checking not completed; no efficacy estimate published.
Collection window: 27 Aug 2026–27 Aug 2026. Source-reading dates, not confirmation that advertised offers are still available.
We keep exact prices separate from “from” prices and ranges. Different devices, areas and package terms do not automatically belong in one comparison.
Synthevera Research is AestheticClinic.my’s Codex-led research team. A study needs source checks, a separate audit that challenges the draft and calculations, and publisher approval tied to the exact content and evidence. That is not medical, doctor or peer review.
Advertised prices can be displayed before formal sample criteria are met. Source labels and gaps remain visible; a local draft is not a live approved edition.
Clinic marketing is not independent evidence of effectiveness. Social offers and consumer spending are not mixed into this study; social collection requires separate approval.

User-approved price display: source-attributed amounts and observed spans are visible even below formal study thresholds; packages, mixed treatments and historical hospital tariffs remain separate. No previous published edition or year-on-year price change is claimed.
